How indicative estimates work
The estimator and Project Desk show base ranges for orientation only. This page explains exactly what they include.
Calculation
- Source: the Made in Italy Fashion catalogue price list for runs of 100–300 pieces per article.
- Only two fields are priced: pattern/model development, and sewing/assembly per piece.
- Published ranges apply a 20% uplift to the lower bound and 25% to the upper bound of the source list. Development figures are rounded to the nearest euro; sewing to the nearest €0.50.
- Base range = development range + sewing range × quantity.
- Quantities below 100 or above 300 never receive an automatic figure.
- VAT is excluded.

Indicative, non-binding estimate. The figures show only an orientation range for pattern/model development and sewing/assembly, calculated from the reference price list for runs of 100–300 pieces per article. The actual price may vary, upwards or downwards, according to quantity, fabrics or yarns, consumption, construction, workmanship, washes, dyes, prints, embroidery, finishing, trims, labels, packaging, complexity, timing, trials, quality control, logistics and project specifications. VAT, materials, trims, treatments, packaging, shipping and other services are excluded unless expressly stated. The estimate is not an offer, quotation, commitment to produce or guarantee of availability. The price is set only after technical assessment and an approved brief.
