03Fully fashioned knitwear

In knitwear, structure and material are born together.

Yarn count, stitch, gauge, drape, linking and behaviour are assessed as connected decisions, not isolated options.

Scope we assess

  • Fine and chunky gauges
  • Merino, cashmere, cotton and blends
  • Fully fashioned shaping and linking
  • Jacquard and structured stitches

Useful to bring

  • Yarn reference or target composition
  • Gauge and stitch references
  • Measurement chart
  • Colour references (physical)

Decisions that matter

  • Gauge versus hand and weight
  • Stitch versus stability and pilling
  • Finishing (washing, steaming) before final measurements

Risks we check

  • Yarn minimums per colour
  • Dimensional change after finishing
  • Pilling on soft blends

Scope describes what we can assess. Workshop capacity and timing are confirmed per project.

Material Truth Engine

Choose the material for what it must do, not only for how it looks.

Hand, weight, construction, behaviour, minimums, treatment and risk compared side by side. Each decision links to a physical reference and to the trials still needed.

Choose it when
The material is still open, or it looks right but may not behave.
What you receive
Material Decision Map · Physical references · Open trials
Where it stops
Screen colour never replaces a swatch, lab dip or physical approval.

Development Atelier

From creative language to a construction that can be tested.

Pattern making, prototyping, fitting and revision turn intention into a readable sample. Every step closes a decision and prepares the next.

Choose it when
The route is clear and the idea is ready to become a sample.
What you receive
Pattern version · Sample · Fit comments · Decision log
Where it stops
Iterations, materials and complexity depend on the project.

Approved Standard Protocol

Approval stops being a memory and becomes a controllable standard.

Sealed sample, tolerances, BOM, recipes, workmanship and checkpoints connected in one approved pack. Production starts from a version, not from interpretation.

Choose it when
A sample is approved and must become repeatable.
What you receive
Approved Standard Pack · Change-control rule
Where it stops
Contents and responsibilities depend on the project agreement.
