Pattern making translates proportion and construction into a measurable base; the tech pack makes that base repeatable by someone who was not in the room.

Approved Standard Protocol

Approval stops being a memory and becomes a controllable standard.

Sealed sample, tolerances, BOM, recipes, workmanship and checkpoints connected in one approved pack. Production starts from a version, not from interpretation.
